Pancake Day Races

I love the fact that you can rely on Whittlesford to have Pancake Day Races – every year. I’ve never actually taken part in one, I have to admit. But its ever so cool that we have them.

Here’s a picture of this year’s big event:

The impressively jacketed pancake-wielding winner, streaking ahead of the pack with his trusty pan before him is …… (can someone please tell me who that is?)

Hopefully this will be the only reason our community officers, Chris and Gary, will have to be running in Whittlesford. Don’t forget to come and say hello to them at Masseys when they do their next surgery tomorrow between 10.15 and 11.15 tomorrow morning. They’re great guys and we’re lucky to have them.
